Gen. David Sejusa has found some relief in his battle to gain freedom after General Court Martial suspended his trial Friday morning.
Gen. Sejusa was arrested in January on allegations of insurbodination of the Chief of Defense Forces Gen. Katumba Wamala and actively involving in politics when he is a serving army officer.
The High Court this week ruled that the General Court Martial suspend trial of the former head of intelligence services.
Gen Sejusa will return to the High Court on April 1 to hear his bail application after court martial suspended his trial.
Gen Sejusa was remanded back to Luzira given that the High Court order staying the military court trial doesn't direct for his release.
