President Museveni lights up Cranes camp with cash and wishes them victory against Congo Brazaville

President Yoweri Museveni has boosted the Uganda Cranes camp by deeping hands into his pocket to meet the allowances of the players ahead of the do or die World Cup qualifier on Saturday at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

Uganda must beat Congo Brazaville to keep chances of qualifying very open after picking a point away in Ghana in the opener.

President Museveni who hosted the team at State House Entebbe Thursday evening to congratulate them upon making it to next year's Nations Cup finals to be hosted by Gabon.

The President flanked by wife Janet Kataha, said: "I appeal to the players and officials to be good ambassadors since they represent our country out there."

He added: "I will supplement players' allowances and offer bonuses for upcoming games. I wish them victory against Congo Brazzaville on Saturday."

The Cranes team was led by FUFA President Moses Magogo.

Multin Micho and his captains Geoffrey Massa and Denis Onyango were present.
