HIV/AIDs in Uganda remains highly prevalent among the married people, according to Uganda Bureau of Standards.
Recent trends show there is an increase in the spread of HIV/AIDs in Uganda despite the country being hailed for championing awareness programmes.
Paul Mungyereza, the director of UBOS revealed: "The govt has done a lot in sensitizing about HIV/AIDS. Surprisingly HIV/AIDS rates are high in married people."
Mungyereza said: "Provided it's a survey, there's always be a margin of error -- but this error is always measurable."
