President Yoweri Museveni has blasted 'infiltrated security' for contributing to fallen AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi's brutal murder and ordered Inspector Genral of Police Gen. Kale Kayihura to clean up his forces.

President Museveni paid a visit to the fallen Kaweesi's home at Kulambiro in Ntinda.

The President said: "The 3rd category are the Police itself and some of the other security forces. They also have a problem."

President Museveni recalled: "I follow all these murders. There're always clues as to who murdered. But some of the security forces are infiltrated."

He narrated: "You get a situation where some of the witnesses are intimidated, others killed! Police is infiltrated by criminals."

President Museveni stated: "As a result, members of the public with clues fear to report what they know to Police, they all want to see me."

He urged police to clean up its house, adding: "In the case of Kagezi, evidence was available but you did not act."

President Museveni pointed out: "There is a DISO in every district, GISO in every sub-county, a PISO in every subcounty to serve Ugandans."

He cited: "How can NAADS inputs be stolen when there are security structures at all levels in Uganda?"

The President promised: "We are going to increase police technical capacity. But, the human resource must also be maximally utilised."

And followed his promise with: "Kaweesi fell on duty. We shall give his family all the support needed. May almighty God rest his soul in peace."
